Author, speaker, writer, executive coach, business owner.
David E. White’s executive leadership experience spans four decades, including a 10-year run as an independent consultant (Synergy Solutions) – with a simultaneous season as a columnist with SaskBusiness Magazine — in the area of corporate culture, strategy and resilience.
His columnist work with SaskBusiness Magazine spawned an up-close-and-personal relationship with the Ford Motor Company, chronicling their impressive recovery from the post global financial crisis. David consolidated what he learned into a book called, “Resilience,” explaining the five principles every organization can use to develop the attributes required for resilience, illustrated by what he witnessed at Ford during their rebirth as a car manufacturing giant.
David has led the growth and development of multiple organizations by improving strategic direction, inspiring hope, rebuilding trust, reconciling relationships, and navigating uncertainty. At one point he led the growth of a processing company, taking it from six employees to ninety-five, and growing revenues over 1000% in eight years. Currently he is the Chief Operating Officer for the Legacy Group of Companies, operating in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta within the fleet products and services sector.
His success drives his passion; to continue to meaningful engage his gifts and abilities to serve others. He feels intrinsically made to teach people how to be great leaders and to help companies thrive.
David holds a Master of Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies, from Royal Roads University. He loves to read, ride motorcycles, public speak, mentor and coach (yes, what he does professionally also fuels his spare time interests!). He is still married to his high school sweetheart. They have two children and one grandchild.
